Prayer group with teensPRAYER

We often pray for one another and for others who are seeking the Lord’s touch for healing, comfort, or other needs, with the laying on of hands. The effectiveness of this form of prayer is part of many testimonies of answered prayer. We simply join in the prayer request with the person seeking help. The One who acts in power to fill the need is the Lord Jesus, no one else.

PRAISE

Worshipper with arms outstretchedPraising and thanking God is an important part of worship. An essential element of our prayer meetings, songs of praise express our love for the Lord. Praise with upraised hands is a common sight at Catholic Charismatic meetings. This was the usual stance for prayer among early Christians. In the catacombs of Rome, many wall drawings show this pose. People who did not grow up with this way of praying may find it strange at first, but many soon find it to be a very natural way of expressing the lifting of hearts and minds to God.

Do you sometimes feel something is missing in your spiritual life? Prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit will change your life. Come and see. Contact us for more information.
